Build your own cigar box guitar! Folk singer and amateur luthier Matt DeBlass will show you how to assemble a simple instrument from a wooden cigar box, scrap wood and a few other easy-to-acquire parts. At the end of the workshop you'll have a fully-playable two-string guitar you can take home with you. Matt will also discuss how to build more advanced instruments, such as fully fretted guitars, banjos and mandolins, and his experiences with making kit-built instruments for professional performance.
